Car dies

Hello everyone, I have a quick question. My engine (289 2bbl),when I begin to decelerate, seems like it wants to die. On occasion it has and this only started recently. The idle is also pretty rough, and it has died when I try to warm the car up also. There is no hesitation when accelerating and the car drives fine other than this problem. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any help.
