car does nothing when trying to start it!!!!

ok about an hour ago my car started fine...then, about 10 min ago i went to go somewhere and the damn thing wont start!!!

i put the key in the ignition..i get the door ajar chime, turn the key to the first click stereo wont turn on interior lights wont come on....the only thing working is the chime......turn the ignition to start and EVERYTHING stops.....all i hear is some kind of clicking under the dash.......


what gives???

Sounds silly, but have you checked the battery cables for corrosion?

fixed it......pulled the negative cable off the battery terminal, put it back on and vroooom...it started...wierd

if it keeps doing it intermitantly then you have a dead spot on your starter

Same thing happened to me at a gas station. The battery terminals were corroded.
