for some reason when I start to go the car is fine but once i hit 2000 rpm's the car dont want to accel any farther. I punched it when this occurs and the rpm's cral up then all of a sudden go back to normal. I know its not the clutch b/c the rpm's would shoot up if it slipped. any idea on what this could be?

Are there any SES codes? Try checking your plug gaps, they may be off. Also, clean your air filter and make sure everything going into the inlet pipe is clear of obstruction.

I'd guess either the fuel filter or maybe a pump somewhere along the line? Or may be the TPS...have you screwed with it?

Any codes on the computer?

still betting on the TPS. Did you fix the problem? Check the TPS voltage?
