i just replaced me harmonic balancer and that got rid of all of the vibrting but my car still feels sluggish. could it just need a tune up or could it be something else?
oh yeah, i have a b-303 cam, 2800 stall, shift kit, cai, pulleys, and p&p intakes, 3 inch exhaust with flowmaster 40 series mufflers (sounds sweet) and i can barely spin the tires from a stop and i only have 285's out back
The timing could be off and the 3-inch exhaust can't be helping much. That's a bit much for almost any 302 setup. A tune-up would probably help out a lot too.
3" exhaust causes loss of power? what, not enough back pressure?
mine feels sluggish too. now i'm wondering if it is partly the exhaust.
mine has equal length shorties, stock cat, a (looks like 2 1/2") catback from an unknown vendor (like that when i bought it), and 3" ractive tips. would that rob low end power?
