well the car is finally going to get the high stall and shiftkit tommorow.

i was going to install it myself but i didnt want my car down for too long because of the hours i work and my busy weekends so i'm taking it in tommorow. i'm getting them to install my Edge Racing 3000 stall, Transgo shiftkit, and some new accumulator pistons. it wont be done till thursday and it feels like weeks away. as soon as i get it back i'll let everyone know my opinion on it.

also, i'm taking the car to the dyno on saturday with some local mustang club members. not expecting much but i'm curious what it will make plus its a good rough baseline before the H/C/I swap. i'll let you all know later aswell

so i thing this calls for a dancing banana

picked up the car on friday.

when i went to pay for the install, the guy said that it stalls at around 3000 and then asked what stall it was. i said, 3000. he looked at me with a shocked face and i laughed lol. i also got a 4r70w pan priced out from ford and they wanted like $100 Canadian. the installer told me he had 4x4 pans and i said ya thats the same one i want. he only charged me $40 CAN for it.

fired up the car and put it in reverse. now i have to give it a bit more gas now backing out but thats ok.

Man what a difference. the shiftkit was drilled to the largest holes but only one washer was used. daily driveablity is still there too. when cruising normally, the 1st and 2nd shift is firm and noticable but not harsh or annoying. the car is alot louder now because of the need to rev the car higher to get it moving but thats a good thing because the exhaust sounds better in the 2K RPM range.

didnt really get a chance to get on it tho. maybe today when on the dyno.
