Guys -
I'll be driving my car or idling doesn't matter and the car will go to stall then catch itself and then the idle is all over the place. I have a tweecer RT and have datalogged the event. What happens when this goes is that the spark advanced to the computer drops to ZERO(0). Car goes to died then car will try to catch itself and then after about 30 seconds finally fix itself.

I have replaced the TFI module and there isn't a difference. Since I'm running the tweecer I have also tried a few new tunes then I decided to run with off the stock computer. Car still does it so I know it's not the Tweecer.

Car isn't throwing any codes either, everything checks out.

Any thoughts?

That wont help. look at his sig. Everyone Ive talked to that has mods like yours has the same problem, including myself. Im pretty sure its a tuning issue. I have yet to get my car tuned . until then I bumped my idle up to 1k rpms. Pretty much solved the problem. Id like to have the idle at aroound 6-7 hundred rpm to hear the cam lope, but until i get a good tune, it wont be possible. Also, i have replaced every single sensor with brand new ones during my build.

Thanks for the replies guys, the surging idle part I can fix in the tune as I have fixed it with other tunes that I have.

I'm more concerned about spark/timing dropping to ZERO(0) for a split second then coming back. That's what I'm concerned about any thoughts on that? I'm thinking that the coil is going and puking for some reason. I have replaced the TFI module already and it still happens so I'm thinking that it might be the coil on it's way out. I haven't replaced that in about 10 years, it was on the car when I purchased the car in 1998. It's been through 2 engine re-builds. Might just be time and it's coincidence that it's when I purchased the tweecer.
