I am wondering if you have a bad coil on the driverside? If I remember correctly my 96 cobra had two coils one for each bank... And you stated that the passenger side was colored and the driver side was still white...
At first that's what I thought, but I followed the plug wires and noticed that each coil pack has wires going to each side of the engine. So, if one went bad I don't think there would be a whole side lean because of it??

That's correct. They are split two for left and two for right so typically you wouldn't see just one side lean if it were a bad pack. You could swap the packs to see if it causes something different.
If you had coolent inside a plug wire it would be difficult to completely dry it out and it wouldn't evaporate readily since the evaporation point of glycol is pretty high. You may still have coolent that found it's way into the plug even though you tried cleaning it. Also the intake could have been leaking for a while before it decided to give it a good blow at the end which could have lead to coolent causing an intermittant misfire.
If a wire keeps blowing off you may not be getting it to seat right. How old are the plug wires?
