Car is running like a$$

I am new to the east coast and its humidity. Is it normal for a car to feel really slugish when its really hot and humid? I know that when it would get into the 90'-100's (dry heat) in CA and AZ that the car would not perform as well as it should, but Im not used to it sucking a$$ when its only 80 out (with 70 percent humidity) So, does humidity put a hurtin on a cars performance? Should I worry, or just get used the fact that the car is not going to be as fast as I would like during the summer?

Humidity playes a big factor in how a vehicle performs. The more humidity the denser the air is. Less oxygen molecules for combustion, thus poor engine performance. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

When your car gets hot and the computer detects this with the IAT it will start to pull timing to keep it from detonating.

Yes, I live in NJ and recently my GT feels like my old V6 on some days, then others, when its a nice cool late night, its great!

Glad to hear its not just me. I know that I have a harder time breathing in this humidity, and i run a bit more slugishly. So, it only makes since that the car would do the same. Now if Diablo would make a programer for a 1975 Jesus I would be in great shape Of course if Diablo made a programer for Jesus the world would be in for some mean times.

Yep. Mine's been quite sluggish during the daytime, but runs great at cooler nights as well.
