Basically what is happening is the car just bogs down when I punch it. At times I have even gotten some knocking. I had almost the same problem about 55K miles/6 yrs ago.
At that time I had a tune up done on it. New plug wires, cap and rotor, plugs, and the injectors were cleaned. After that it ran better than ever, I had only had it for about a year when I got this tune up done and the car at that time had about 45K on it.
I have recently replaced the cap and rotor and plugs, about 6k ago. So I am thinking I might try some new wires now. Has anyone else had this kind of problem and do you guys think this is a good solution? Thanks
