I bought a new battery, starter, coolant sensor, air charge sensor, newer iac, new fuel filter the fuel pump is only a few months old. I read up on some info and people say it might be a broken baffle in the gas tank, So I filled it up and it continues to die. It will happen when coming to a stop or just idleing If you give it gas it'll keep running, I am really puzzled here.. someone help!

okay after reading another thread, the car is an 88 gt and its been converted to mass air, by splicing into the original harness, well over a year ago. The car has a stock 302, kirban FPR, and a walbro 190lph pump.

Have you pulled codes?

How was the idle set?

Does it happen all the time?

How is the cold idle?

Was the IAC cleaned? You noted it was newer but I didn't know how to take that.

Any extra info you can provide will help out a lot.

Good luck.

Ive tried to pull codes many times, but ive never been able to get it to work.

I set base idle and it kept at 600 rpms just fine

It happens when the motor is warm, either when the clutch is pushed in, or sometimes idleing

cold idle is great

I grabbed another iac from a friend and made sure it was clean
