it seems like my car isn't liking something? it's a great daily driver and is modded but for some reason every now and then it goes into a limp home mode or failsafe check-engine mode. I have a tune from steeda, off road h-pipe with mil eliminators, flowmaster custom exhaust, steeda underdrive pullies and k&n aircharger kit. I have sent my tuner back to steeda a couple of times and tried new tunes but it still messes up? I am having it looked at sat. but was wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if they might have an idea why the car is acting retarded. I have read post about butterfly valves not opening correctly....i've heard that the crank pulley might not be on straight???? I dunno, please tell me what you think?

Im guessing you dont have a Diablo Tuner or you would have been able to find out what the problem is by now. What tuner do you have?

i am using the sct xcalibrator.... I guess I am going to try and see if steeda will let me exchange or upgrade my sct for the sct II. The dealership said I was SOL as far as warranty went so I guess I am going to have to pay 175 for them to even run a scan on my car....unless there is another scanner tool out that that is capable of reading the new computers. But by the way things sound what do you think is going on?

I would take it to a dyno tuner, with as many mods as you have I wouldn't trust a canned tune.
