car makes weird noises.....

My car started to make throaty whizzing noise....... and its making my car sound very old and ghetto. ANybody knoe whats wrong with it.

ok ill try my best to describe the case.... the noise seems to be coming from somewhere in th engine bay..... it kinda sounds like the intake sucking in the air.... but alot louder then the normal sound.... its more of a gurgley whisting noise..... the noise is present through out the entire drive and extra louder on acceleration....
