Most manufacturers make an MP3 player now. I am on the market for one now as well and most likely will go with an Eclipse unit.

sorry

i meant that this panasonic had more features than that eclipse you said you wanted.....htis has 25 (or 24) RMS watts while the Eclipse had 19....this has 3 sets of pre-amp out puts....so you can control your bass....the eclipse has only 2

I have had my aiwa CDC-MP3 for 4 years. It has a lovely blue glow, volume knob for fast volume control, bass control, even a input outlet on the faceplate where you cant plus stuff in and listen to it in aux mode. Got a portable DVD player? got a guitar? plug in and play! I dont know if they still make it or not.

How about a portable MP3 Player?

Depending on what you already have installed and want to have in as far as the actual stereo, you should consider a protable MP3 Player such as an IPod or any other Juke Box Style MP3 Player. Along with a FM Modulator, you can play mp3's through the existing stereo, and take it with you when not in your car. Most indash players still use cd's. While they hold a lot more songs on one disc, you will still end up changing discs from time to time, and have to know what is on each disc. With an Ipod, you have your entire music collection with you all the time, and can move it from car to car. I highly recomend this route.

Meh I bought the aiwa one the second it came out like 5 years ago. I love it. I will never go back to regular cd's. I burn 300+ songs onto a cd in data format and can listen to hours of music no problem.

I personally like kenwood excelon mp3 headunits. They have some nice features my aiwa one does not.

Use my iPod in my 66 daily. Take it everywhere with me and always have all of my songs without one CD.

The iPod is the way to go.
