Zero chance they get even close to their asking price but as someone who has a small stash of OEM, cd and casette players, I hope they get it

The market for this type of stuff is WILD. A buddy was clearing out a shop (commercial) that his company owns and had been leasing to a stereo / tint place for YEARS. Owner apparently retired. Took the stuff he wanted told his staff to take what they wanted and left a lot of stuff behind. The normal crew that cleans out these buildings? None of them are car people - they would have likely pitched everything. My buddy ended up there instead.

Boxes of unopened window tint. Lots of weird odds and ends. Then he realized they had built a little closed in office and it had storage above it. BOXES full of OEM Stereo stuff replaced over the years. I convinced him to list some of it on Ebay - kind of crazy that I'm old enough now that people are RESTORING 80s and 90s cars to 'factory' and paying for nice OEM stuff that's commonly replaced.

Hell I parted out the complete, working Mach 1000 stereo system from my '04 Comp OR GT. Sold the speakers and brackets to a young guy restoring a Cobra / Mach1 (Can't remember which) that had it originally. Sold the complete amp rack to another guy doing the same. I was shocked how quickly they sold for a decent price. I sold the original '04 Mach 1K stereo / CD player for a good price on Ebay and it needed some love.

I still have the stock Mach system in my 98 Cobra, I've thought about sending it off for the bluetooth upgrade but I'm not sure I want to mess with it. The interior is stock and mint (although I put in Corbeau seats and kept the originals safe) so I think I'll leave it alone.

It's not even an original 93 Radio. It's a rebuilt later model that has had the faceplate and bottom plate swapped.

It's an optimistic price. I have two of those in my pile.
That bit about the cubby under the radio being a 93 SVT thing is bogus, the Junk Pyle has one unless the SVT Cobra got a different one

He's referring to the entire bottom plate of the radio that has the bracket for the cubby bolted to it. That part is unique to 1993. You can't take an 87-92 plate/bracket and put it on a 1993+ radio.

You can drill the rivets out and rivet it to the bottom of a blank plate, but now we are getting fancy.

Oh, ok now I see.....like Ray Charles said 'it's right there in plain sight'
I have the factory radio with the equalizer and that little amp thing stuck back behind the radio on a shelf, I could be talked into selling it
prolly not worth much.
