I drove like a grandma in cold rains weather, I shift at 2k every gear, like I go 30mph I already shift at 4th gear. If I shift every 3k the tire will spin. is any one here doing the same or drive the same ? Im hauling ass on sunny dry day, but rains and cold i give up.
she should run better when its cold..and its a mustang! rear wheel drive with a light ass end. and in my case bald tires. so i have to shift at 2k like you said. even when its dry out and i get up in the r's about 4k maybe they break loose anyway.
Now im not feeling bad any more. I read your sign, your exhault set up is what I plan to get in a week, how the sound like with flow and mac h pipe, is your weld on or whole cat ?
i just have the weld-ins. i think it sounds wicked, especially at WOT. its pretty loud, but, shifting at 2k you can keep it pretty quiet if you need to.

no prob, just make sure youre not one of those people that start the car when its in the single digits outside and immediately start driving. warm it up for a minute at least.

What kind of tires are you running.
If they are summer performance tires, they will not hook at all under 40 degrees.
Tonight it was 32 on my ride home, and if i went WOT in 1st, 2nd or 3rd, it would spin tires.
It can be dangerous when you turn as the tires are not grabbing they way they would on a warm day. If you are driving a long distance the tires will heat up a bit and grab better, but short distance cold weather drives you need to take it easy
When it's near freezing or below, you don't want to just fire up the engine and start banging gears right away. I hope you guys at least let the engine come up to temp to get the oil at the proper viscosity.
exactly. and at least give it 60 seconds after starting for the oil to circulate from the bottom of the pan to the top of the engine.
