why does my car shale when i give it gas only does in 5th gear??

checked the plugs, wires, drive shaft, and the tires i think its the timing how do i reset it? what should it be set at? it's stock i do have a timing gun

10* is stock 12* is better and 14* is even better if you use premium.

start the car, pull the SPOUT out, adjust the timing (you can see the marks better if you chalk them b4 you start it underneath) put the spout back in....good to go
