I have a 2002 V6 and I just see myself getting into a major accident with it one of these days. If the ground is even slightly damp, the car skids and fishtails like crazy and is all over the place. I always try to take it easy when it's wet out and always drive carefully, don't speed, and I'm careful making turns but it still does it - and does it bad - no matter what I do. My tires are still decent but I was thinking maybe they're part of the problem? It's really hilly where I live too, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Earlier I was coming back from lunch and made a right turn very carefully and still, the car was all over the road and I swear it was on two wheels at one point. I seriously thought it was gonna flip. And I was driving very carefully, it's not like I was driving like a lunatic.
My brother has a '95 GT and said he and my sister in law have never experienced that problem. My neighbor who has an '04 V6 said it happens all of the time to her though.
