Ok, well now let's start from the beginning.
Let my car warm up this morning and headed off to work as usual.
Got to the end of my road and took a right on red, car was parked to the left of me and I heard a "squeek" noise that seemed to echo off the car at the light.
Thought nothing of it thinking it may have been that car.
Then going through the gears i realize it was me.
Didn't think Too much of it, kept on driving.
I get to the busy part of my drive, lots of traffic lights and stop and go traffic.
And this noise is still happening whenever I push in the clutch.
So i'm at a stop basically in bumper to bumper and i notice a whole bunch of smoke come from my hood.
Ok, now im like **** and quickly pull over and pop the hood.
It sounds as if something is loose inside the bellhousing. Don't know what but it's like a scraping noise every now and then, consistant.
When you push the clutch in you get the squeeking and then the smoke.
Unsure of what the problem might be at this point in time, car isn't back home in the driveway yet. Flatbed is picking it up now. So, looks like im pulling the tranny :F
Any idea's as to what it could be oh great people of Stangnet?
