hi I recently install a car stereo with remote in my 65 fastback its inside the glove box ,what can I do so that I could close the glove box and still be able to use the remote thanks

Get a hold of the manufacture of the stereo and see if they have a sensor that you can mount outside of the box... Or relocate the stereo so its out in the open.

If the radio had an RF remote it would work with the glove box closed, so the radio must have an IR remote which needs line of sight.
