Car wont start after rear main seal replaced

I had to change the rear main seal. When I put everything back together my car wont start. There is a brand new battery so I know that its ok. The only thing I noticed was the wire going to the starter was touching the housing of the motor. I think I might have blown a fuse but would not know where to start. Thanks for the help.

Does the starter not crank the engine or does the engine turn over and not fire off?

It doesn't make a sound. Turn the key and nothing.

Did you remove a ground strap and forget to hook it back up? That's my swag.

I was able to get my car going found that the connector for the neutral and park was not pushed in all the way.
