So Im putting my car back together, im ready to start, but i have no crank from the starter. I was getting one click at the starter solenoid but nothing else. I bought a new battery, had the starter tested, and bought a new starter solenoid but im still getting just one click out of the starter solenoid and thats its, only thing i can think is a bad ground now, i have no idea what else to check, please help!

get new battery cables and make sure your solenoid is tight and grounded good. also I would get a new cable running from the solenoid to the starter. Sounds like a bad connection to me

You can use a spare jumper cable to parallel existing cables.

Do your lights dim or shut off when it clicks?

I just had this problem too. My battery cables were pretty shot and weren't getting a good connection at the battery. I dont know what yours look like, but its worth a shot.
