car won't start when warm

i have an '86 gt that has been upgraded to mass air...i also have an edelbrock 5.0 performer a set of gt 40 heads an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a mild cam...everything else is stock for time being

i originally had an overfueling problem, i corrected that by replacing the eec-iv harness and since then the car won't restart once it warms up.... fuel pressure is at 39 psi with vac line on...also right now i have no readings for water or oil temp...other than that the car starts, idles and runs fine - slightly hesitant on throttle response though

Mine did the same thing...it was the coolant temp sensor. Keep part to replace and worth a try. As for the hestitation try setting the TPS to .98 or .99, it may help.

youhave 39# of fuel pressure w/ vac line on thats too high. you should have 39# with no vac. hesitation could be cogged fuel filter or tps needs set
