Car wont start!!!!!!!!!

how do i fix the distributer???? you know what i mean? so it will start.

Whats wrong with the distributor?

Stick a screwdriver in the #1 plug whole and bring the piston all the way to the top. Then when it is at the top pull off the distributor cap cover and look at it. It should be pointing at the #1 wire. Also make sure you are at 0* on the balancer. It might be 180 off but it is the easiest way.

ok what?? the piston is on top, my dizzy is off not on.

ok heres what you do

remove #1 spark plug, unplug the coil.

put a finger over the #1 plug hole and crank the motor over untill you feel air rush out of the hole. immedatly stop cranking

stab the dizzy in with the rotor pointing as close as you can get it to the #1 plug (on the cap)

after that start it up and set timing

it started but its making the noise still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why? whats the fring order? by the way the noise does stop at high rpms.
