Carb cleaning

Rebuilding '66 2V carb. Do I just use fuel as a solvent or is there something else? Also, do I disassemble down to all stop?? thanks

Do you have a kit already for it? And with the kit do you have clear instructions?

Carb cleaner works, or there are a few carburetor specific solutions that can be used. A tooth brush (WHILE WEARING SAFETY GLASSES!!!) Can be almost as effective as any other cleaner.
