I just purchased a Holley 4V 4160 Electric Choke 600cfm carb. I have it mounted on a 1983 Ford intake. When I mount it the way I think it is supposed to go, looking from the front of the car toward the transmission, the electic choke is on the left side, the throttle will not open up all the way. If I put the EC on the right the linkage opens all the way. Am I correct that the EC should be on the left and the fuel intake is on the right front. Does it need a spacer or something to let the throttle open all the way.
