Hello all I just bought (got a greatdeal) a rebuilt 302 carburated block that I want to put in my 1986 mustang fuel injected. I was hoping to get some pointer on what I will be using from my existing block to complete this swap.

I'll try to help you out. What year is the engine? What did it come out of? Roller block?

If you are going to use the factory fuel injection you'll need to make sure that you have a HO firing order cam. You'll also need to swap out the timing chain cover and oil pan to the fox body ones. Use your TFI distributor of course. That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.

Just thought of one other thing. 28 or 50 oz balance?
