I'm tuning my carb, just want to know the best way to go about it. I already know where the adjustment screws are. My car is running really rich right now, i want to lean it out a bit..thoughts?
The way I did it was turn the mixture screws all the way in, then back out a turn and a half for both of them. Then I hooked up a vacuum gauge and shot for the highest vacuum at idle, adjusting 1/4 turn at a time for each. Take your time, you'll be glad you did.
