Anyone ever use this to make a tv bar work with a carb? i'm tring to finish my carb swap and all i need is the tv cable, but if i can use this to make the tv bar work i might do it, it's cheaper by a long shot

yeah i'm thinking i'm just gonna get the setup from lokar and be done with it, i'll spend more, but no guess work

Dont you think if I blew my transmission, I wouldnt suggest making one?? You just trace the holes. I could just send you the dimensions, and you can make one. I reused the old cable, and then built the bracket to attach to the holley carb.

does your car have the tv cable, or the tv bar? mine came with the tv bar that hooked to the cfi setup

I really dont think it matters if its a bar or cable. Its just an attaching point for the TV setup. That bracket you showed just relocated the hole so the TV setup isnt stretching which causes it to short shift and burn up the tranny. I just copied the design of the bracket you can buy at any parts store I've been to, or get it from Summit. You dont have to buy this stuff from someone like Lokar.
