The show is definately on for Saturday May 21st 10am-2pm we are going to start parking cars at 9am. I hope you all can still make it out to the show. If you had signed up and you can not make it please give me a call and let me know 619-218-8566 name's Richard. For those that are coming the address is 7020 Manzanita St. Carlsbad CA 92009 you can map quest it but I will put the directions below, there are lots of ways to get there but the following is the least confusing and fastest route from the freeway. It is in the parking lot of Sunrise Assisted Living At La Costa on the corner of El Camino Real and Aviara. There will be food, and music and lots of aftermarket companies. Like I said before this is free to all and open to the public to come out and check out the cars so get the word out and even if you are not planning on showing a car please come out and check us out. There isnt a competition but there will be a raffle with some great prizes.

Thanks everyone for coming out, I hope you all had fun. thanks again to Directed Adio (Directed.com), 3DCarbon, JBA, Street Scene, Mossy Ford, K&N, Joeys Smokin BBQ, Pat and Oscars, Silva's Mexican Food, the Encinitas Woody Foundation, SVTOA, SoCalStangs, DPR and everyone else for coming out and supporting the show. I think it was a pretty good one for our first show. We raised $430.00 from the raffle and that will all be going to the Alzheimer's Assossiation. The unnoficial count of cars that turned out was 60 parked at any given moment throughout the event but I know there were some people that left and more that took there places, and I am trying to get a good grasp of what the total turnout of cars was. Throughout the entire day.

We are currently planning our next event, the city of Encinitas has asked me if our club could host the Rod and Woody show they do once a month throughout the summer on 101. The one we will be doing will be on June 17th. I will post more info soon. But for now I need cars so please go to our website www.surfsidemustangs.com and get some more info and if you are interested we will have about 20 spots right in the center of the action and I would like a good mix of old and new for that so please if you are interested, especially if you have a classic, email me at [email protected]. If we cant fit you in the 20 spots please still come out and help us line the streets there will be plenty of spots and we would love to have you all come out and do this with us.

Joeys Smokin BBQ by the way is across the street from where the show was, I do not know the exact address but if you are interested in that I will find out just PM me. but it it is in La Costa in the Vons shopping center on Aviara and El Camino Real, it is as soon as you enter the parking lot from Aviara on the imediate left hand side, you cant miss it and I think it is awesome, especially for BBQ on the west coast. Its well priced too. They also cater and I know you can look them up on the internet its spelled "Joey's Smokin' BBQ" when you do the search, i think its best if you omit the appostraphes though.

Thanks again to everyone. I hope to see you out at our other events.
