Thanks, weather is over with. There was some hail and the car got into a tiny bit of rain but nothing bad at all. Besides a little dirt and road grime its in the driveway.

I bolted the wheels and tires on and must say it looks much better then the 17s and space savers. Color looks good in the sun, and actually changes hues. It almost looks greenish in the shade, but in direct sun it looks gold. Also makes the rims look more grey!

Thanks, the car really looks awesome in person. I have the two kids coming back here to touch some things up. They werent able to get into the engine bay, but they will be doing that for me, as well as maybe redo the trunk jamb (some paint wore off from wear and tear without the rubber stops).

I have a photographer lined up, the friend who did my brothers 06, and will be getting some in action shots and beauty shots after its all done!

Are you going to wetsand the clear at all? The paint looks great as is, but some wet sanding, cutting, and buffing would make it look ammmmmmazing. The color scheme is very different and I like it a lot.

Yes, the kids who did it plan to come and wet sand it, and take care of anything else. I will have them finish up the bay, and some other small stuff. These guys get a huge amount of resepect from me, for being 16 years old! :O

looks pretty freakin sweet. How many hours do you think you've put in it so far. When i eventually get one to make a street ride out of instead of racing i want one green and black like almost exactly like yours. looks great good luck putting the interior back together.

Hours, Oh man... I would say hundreds. The car came off the road as a stock 145K mile car more or less. I didn't do anything driveline related other than axles, brakes, and a new short block. Then the engine bay was redone, and the body work, interior stuff, suspension, exhaust etc. A lot of reasons for taking so long was having to sit and wait. The car had to wait a month or two to get into our shop, but when it was finally inside the progress went by pretty quick. I am hopinh after its wet sanded and buffed the assembly will go smooth and quick and I will be driving it by July latest!

Excellent looking car and kudos to the 16 year olds who did it. They definitely have a career in painting ahead of them if they want it.

Yeah these kids will definately be good car painters after they get older.

Nick, you shouldnt be worried about this fender, you should be worried about the other one you sold me!

Thanks for the replys. Might get some pics of it on the ground and next to the new DD tonight!

I'm gonna throw up. Another stang plagued by an ugly black/brown two tone paint job. The paint quality and work is good but still the combo is crap. I used to have a stang painted the same way. Granted i didn't paint the car so it wasn't my choice. Can't people stick with one color these days? Two tones are for imports not ford.

Two tone for the win, you have no taste. How is it "another two tone stang" I dont see too many if you ask me. And since when are paint schemes import and not import, ITS PAINT. The two tone used here gives off a look of classiness, definately modernizes the car in my opinion. The body line he went off is perfect and I think NEEDS to be two toned from there. Thats why Im painting my car the same way. LOL oh yea and how about stock mustangs being two toned at the ground effects is that too import too? Get in your 4x4 Bronco and go run over your white unpainted hood. Sorry just had to vent, Im a firm believer in the two tone thing. Oh yea one more thing, Chip Foose two tones just about everything, are you saying he doesn't know how to make a nice car? bah

Lol, some people have different tastes. I personally will be happy driving this car around with its gold and black two tone, some might hate it...

Got some pics of it today on the ground with the wing stuck on, and parked next to the new daily driver... Not a bad set up for a 22 year old,
