Looking for a little info and/or personal experience with this fuel pump. This is the fuel pump that came on my 1993 Notch that I recently bought. From what I could find, it appears to be a Carter P4700HP which is no longer sold. I found some documentation that lists its specs as:

-600 lbs/hr @ 45PSI (8-90 PSI Range)
-1100 HP NA or 800 HP FI capable

Anybody have any experience with this pump when making 600+HP? I can't really find any reviews anywhere or how it compares to an A1000 pump.

600 lb/hr = 100 gal/hr = 378 l/hr
Some Walbro in-tank pumps are 450 l/hr
External pumps are no longer needed unless you have more than 500 hp.

Walbro GSS Fuel Pumps - High Pressure - 255LPH - 350LPH - GSS340 GSS341 GSS342 GSS350G GSS351G GSS352G

Walbro GSS Fuel Pumps - 255LPH / 350LPH High Pressure - Fuel Pump part numbers such as GSS340 GSS341 GSS342 GSS350G GSS351G GSS352G

If what you have works, keep it. It will easily support 600hp.

Those newer Walbro pumps are awesome @ 450 l/hr, I've been eyeing those up for my other build. This carter is definitely an older fuel pump, just wasn't sure if anyone has actually had any experience with it. This car is over 500 rwhp, so it was needed back when it was built in the mid to late 2000's, but I'm starting to get my list together once I decide to upgrade this block and do something a little different.
