RF F6AE 6O90 B22A ARE THE NUMBERS ON THE HEAD. I BOUGT A 98 GT THE GUY HAD THE MOTOR SWAPPED I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE YEAR OR ANY THING AT ALL.HELP THANX

definatly a NPI head. look like a 96 casting based on the prefix.

that worse that means i have 10 less horse power than i should have.

head swap

how hard would it be to do a pi swap.would it braek the bank or there are better ways to gain hp.

The PI swap is a very popular swap for the 96-98 mustangs. Picking up the cams and intake is the cheapest/easiest, though finding the heads for a good price is a little bit more difficult. They have definitely went down in price so just search around and you can find a good deal.
If buying used look to spend around $100 on the PI intake (with alum crossover), another $100 on the cams, and I have been watching heads go for $250-300 and some even with cams installed still. The install is the factor that most consider when they skip over the PI heads as it's not too easy of a task and a shop is going to be quite steep. The heads also bump the compression and some fear that.

Are there any mods on the car that you know of?

no none that i know of but feels far to torqy for a stck car.i does have 2.5 inch stock exhuast.and is louder than other stangs i heard.

i got a closer look at my cast # on the head rf f5ae 6090 b22a. that woul say 1995 but my motor looks 4.6 weird.?????

could be a long block or heads from a 95 crown vic or t-bird

put up a picture of the motor. does it look like other 96-98 GT motors? you cant use a 5.0 head on a 4.6 motor.

looks like a 96-98 motor straight up.with the pony on the plenum.

probably just put in a low mileage crown vic or t-bird long block. i wouldn't worry about it. you definitely want to swap to PI heads though.

Are you able to contact the previous owner? You might want to ask him what's all in there so you won't run into any surprises

he is a dum ass he dont about stangs. but the car feels strong as hell.stock to i wanna get 2.5 inch x pipe 373 gears to start off.
