i purchaced a suspension kit and im going to lower my car today its the h@r sport springs and tokio shocks/struts..do i need caster camber plates to get the car aligned? or can i do without them for now? i couldnt really find any info on it. so any would be great.

For the H&R Sport Springs, you wouldn't need caster/camber plates. As a live example, my friend's Mustang is lowered with Steeda springs and his tires never wore out unevenly for the last 5 years he had them (Steeda and H&R Sport springs have comparable drop rates).
Now if you went with the H&R Super Sports springs like I did before, you'll definitely need caster/camber plates. I only have them right now because I changed to the Eibach Pro-Kit because I kept scraping with the H&R SS.

Like Seraphitia102 said... Probably not with "Sports" but "SuperSports" most likely. You can even do some adjustments with your stock C/C plates if you don't freak about drilling and putting in new rivits.

I've got an 03 GT with the Pro Kit. I first put them on when i had the stock Bullits on and I had Steeda do the alignment. I started to see wear on the inside of the front tires in about 6 months. Remember that Ford allows for a certain amount of tolerance in their materials. Not every car is the exact same in my opinion. i would say to go with the CC plates. You never know.
I switched to 18's and put on CC plates. I was not about to let brand new 18" tires get ruined. No wear yet. Been close to 6 months now.

If I had gotten the Pro-Kit from the beginning, I wouldn't have gotten my caster/camber plates. I just went extreme at first with the H&R SS and the plates were required if I were to maintain even tire wear.

Like people are saying, each car is different when it comes to alignment. You can put the pro-kit in there and see how the caster/camber is with the stock CC plates. Most people say if the drop is less than 1.5", you won't need CC plates. But some people need CC plates with a 1" drop. I think it depends on the car. So if you have the cash, get the MM CC plates. If you can't afford it like me, then slap on the springs and hope the caster/camber is good

BTW- does any one have pictures of their stang with Eibach pro-kit springs? Whats the drop for a 99-04 stang? I hear the H&R SS springs are close to 2", and I don't think I want it that low.
