HAMPTON ROADS
when i bought my car back in dec it had already been lowered w/ springs from ford and new shock and struts. it has apparently been like this for a few years. i did not see any prob with tread wear on any of the tires prior to replacing them. would it be a good idea to get the c/c plates? tires are exp and don't want to prematurely wear them out. out of the 6 stangs i've had this is my first lowered one. i like the advantages of it esp after i reinforced the frame.

it allows more control of the alignment. if your car is lowered on FRPP b or c springs then thats not really beyond the limit of the stock CC plates. if you got money laying around then sure... but otherwise its not really needed and spend it elsewhere... :)

You don't have to get them if your car aligns properly as it sits now, and with FMS springs you are even less likely to need them.
Everyones car is different.
In fact if you truely don't need them, you'd just be throwing $200 in the garbage.
