Caster/Camber plates?

I have installed new springs on my car and I am next going to install new struts. I was looking into getting some CC plates and then having the car aligned. I was wondering what plates everyone has. Also, in the picture below you can see how close my strut brace is to the stock plates. Does anyone have plates along with a strut brace? I was wondering which CC plates are low profile enough to clear my brace.

Final question...Has anyone had a regular Ford dealer align their car with plates? I never take my car to a Ford dealer b/c I never can trust them, but when it comes to alignment I dont have much choice. Thanks!

i have Maximum Motorsports C/C plates on my 94 and they don't interfer with the strut tower brace.

I do alignments for a living and Ive installed all kinds of CC plates and I think the Maximum Motorsport plates are by far the best. They are the easiest to install and look the best and give the most adjustment

The MM are nice but require drilling a 4th hole. That isn't a bigdeal, but it is more work and I dont really need the extra support on my car. Hotchkis has a nice compact set, but they cost even more than the MMs. For $200 the MMs are a good deal.

The Hotchkis will provide a smoother ride due to the bearings. They use a rubber/urethane bushing. Everyone else uses spherical steel bushings. I wish I had done the Hotchkis way back when. Now I'm going coil overs so I will need a 4 bolt plate like MM's.

I haven't yet. I just posted that picture directly from Hotchkis' website. I wish my engine bay paint was that shiny

I do like the MMs though for only $200.

I have the Steedas with a MAC STB. They work and fit fine, but they are ugly

I like the look of the UPR ones that are like shark fins, and stainless!

Yea I think the MMs are very nice and for only $200 they probably can't be beat. I guess I will just have to break out the drill.

There is no way or need to adjust the rear b/c it is a live axle. The caster and camber remain constant no matter what, unless you smack a curb or something

Hmmm, interesting. So, no matter how low car is or how big a wheel goes on it the rear wheels will always be aligned correctly?
