Installation is simple enough although some brands don't come with new boots for the struts, so unless you've changed them in the past you'll need to get a set. Keep in mind as well that an alignment should be in order afterwards. Toughest part is getting the top strut nut off....

I agree with ss93cobra on this one.

Not very difficult. You will need an impact wrench to get the top strut nut off.

Also try to mark where the center of your strut was in order to get it as close as you can until you get it to an alignment shop.

I've installed both the Steeda and the MM c/c plates and I had not problems installing either.

i installed my own, they were kind of a pain, but i think that also had to do with swapping to '95 spindles on an '84 which has a narrower track than the '87-up...now, my plates are all the way in and I can only get 0.3* neg camber on either side-ptooey!

next suspension mod: tubular k member, arms, and coil overs with good struts and shocks!

I installed my own a couple of years ago. I don't remember it well though which makes me think it was pretty easy.

Get an alignment done as soon as possible.

I like the idea of marking the center of the strut so you can atleast get it close. Good stuff 89sleeper!

They are easy. 3 of the 4 sets I've done on my cars have been done in conjunction with a K-Member, Arms, Coilovers, and manual steering. If you plan doing that stuff anyway its probably a good time to break out the plastic. Heck, its always a good time to break out the plastic!
