Caster / Camber plates

When I put on 17" or 18" wheels on my 93 notch, are the plates mandatory? If so, what else is needed? Thanx.

wheel size shouldnt require you to put on caster/camber plates... unless they're waaayyy taller than stock or something. You need the plates to correct the camber after you lower the car cuz the stock adjustment will only go so far.
