Don't kill me if this was brought up before... which it probably was.

I am going to get the Eibach Pro-Kit Springs for by 2004 GT. Do I need plates?
I will buy them if I need them, have heard that there not needed though.
Thanks

i would do it anyway whether needed or not, great supporting mod and helps to align it better, upgrade the shocks when you do the springs though. there are many different setups to go with as far as shocks and struts go, a lot depends on application. as far as cc plates go, look no further than maximum motorsports. theirs are 200$ and worth every penny.

people will tell you they are not needed but they really are.

i do alignments every day. you MAY get it into spec but the ford spec sucks. you can be in spec and still have tire wear issues.

get the MM plates (nothing else)
set the alignment as follows

camber -0.50 on both sides
caster anywhere between 4.0 to 6.5 with a -0.5 offset (pass wheel 0.5 ahead of drivers wheel)
toe 0.32
