Are you trying to identify the Holley carb? Look on the "front" of the air horn, and there should be a number there. Post that info, and we can help you out.

If you are just trying to get better performance out of your truck, we will need a lot more info to help with that.

Keep in mind, that it probably just needs a good "tune up", and all that that implies, including a NEW TIMING GEAR SET.

Dude, I'm trying to work with you.
What engine/parts do you want to identify?
What engine do you want to build?
A "small block" Ford can be either a 289/302, or a 351W. They are not the same.
If you tell us what you have, and what you want to upgrade, we can and will help you out....

A 77 Cougar could have had either a 351M or a 351W. If it was an "M" intake, there will be no coolant passages in the intake. If it's a Windsor intake it will. You don't need the casting numbers to tell you this. Your 86 motor could have either a 2 bbl or 4 bbl intake from the factory. If it's got a 4 bbl intake and you want to bolt on a 2 bbl carb, all you need is a Trans-Dapt 2 to 4 bbl adapter to accomplish this. Or simply disconect the secondaries on the 4 bbl carb.
