Cat Back exhaust weight????

I got my magnaflow cat back exhaust system yesterday and It's still in the box. The weight of the system is roughly 60lbs. I didn't realize it weighed this much. Anyhow, Does anyone know how much a typical after market cat back sys weight is compared to the stock catback weight???

They are a little heavier than a typical factory cat back. Many of the mufflers, like MAC and Flowmaster, are made of much thicker steel than the thin wall rolled factory mufflers. MAC systems with 2.5" tips weigh about 53 lbs, for example.

It might be about even in weight. There's more steel, but there is less crap in the mufflers than in the stock ones
