It sounds like it's etched in right? If so, you might be in trouble. Try using a clay bar(I doubt it would work). I would try using a scratch remover/polisher on it. Good Luck.
I would try Meg's scratchX to see if it rubs it off you can get it at AZ or discount. If it's just a stain maybe some cleaner wax will do the trick worth a try.
