cd player relocate

I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to switch my vent controls and my cd player, i was thinking i could just make some way to mount the vent controls and the bottom but im not sure.... has anyone done/ seen it done or know a sure way i can? i cannot STAND the cd played so darn low.

There's a kit out there that does it (actually a couple kits IIRC. Alan might sell a proprietary version himself). They are pretty neat lookin - search threads for the links to the place(s) that sell them.

You could also relo' the HVAC to the ashtray. Adam did that on his old orange car IIRC. Kinda unusual.

gaugeplates.com.....got mine from them.....costs about 100 bucks but well well well worth it....cds now go in no prob when im in 5th gear!!...mine was 100 bucks only cause i also had them make me 2 2&1/16 holes for gauges and 3 rockers switches as well

I did mines last year or so dont remember? but i know you would have to change the a/c controls to the 90-93 ones because the lines are not the same the 90-93 ones are longer and the controls are differant....
