I have no problems with rubbing or anything, the only thing you have to remember is that it may hit some curbs and such so be careful and park back far enough.
It became a habit fast to park back a bit farther.
I have a Torch Red GT and am going your route (flat black) with the chin spoiler. Going to paint the spoiler black, put Boss C stripes on the side, and either put a black stripe on the hood or replace the hood with the Steeda cowl and paint it all back. I'm trying to work up a digital mockup first...
The red color on the spoiler looks great too by the way.
