I preffer the look of the CDC Shaker to the Mach's...I think the Mach shaker makes the hood look too fat (for lack of a better word) and the CDC Shaker is near the top of my Mod Wish List now
Do you mean the Mach Shaker does'nt look big enough compared to the size of the hood? If so, I agree with that. I wish the Mach Shaker was about an inch or two wider. I think it would really look better then. Something like how the Boss 429 hood scoop was huge compared to the hood scoops of other Mustangs.
that may be it...it just seems the hood it too big, or the hump is to high or something...you know in profile how it looks sorta like a camel hump?
now, I'm a big fan of Mach's, I love the way they look and if there was a convertible version I would have gotten one in a New York minute...but I think the CDC shaker just looks a little bit better
Poser mod? Mustangs are mutts to begin with (with exception to the 05-09). Mustangs where first based off a Falcon. Shelby borrowed parts off the Cougar and Thunderbird. Mustang II where re-badge Pintos. The great thing about hot rods / muscle cars is that we make them into what we like. Their are no rules to hot rodding, just have fun with it. I don't like people that re-badge a V6 model with GT badges or a GT model with Cobra emblems. Seems kind of dumb, but at the end of the day where the rubber hits the road no badge or hood scoop is going to help you beat the car next to you at the stop light.
