CDC "shaker hood system" and Pro-Charger supercharger

I have a 2005 Ford Mustang GT Convertible.
I have JBA "shorty" headers, Bassani full race exhaust (x-pipes, cats and mufflers), cylinder heads ported and polished and a custom ground camshaft (Superior Automotive Engineering in Anaheim). I have also installed a Pro-Charger (high-output 9-10 psi) supercharger. I just bought a CDC "shaker hood system" to mate to the supercharger.
My question is this, will the "shaker hood system" mate directly to the supercharger or do I need to purchase a conversion kit of some sort?
I contacted CDC directly, but even they don't know exactly how their system will mate to my Pro-Charger supercharger.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

well I don't know for sure but the CDC unit is designed to replace part of the stock intake. The procharger also replaces part of the stock intake, so I doubt it will just bolt to gether. I can only see 2 issues however.

1. Plumbing
2. Clearance

Now assuming there is enough room to fab up a new intake track from the scoop to the blower I don't see a problem. Silicon tubing will probably be your easiest bet, as it is readily available and easy to cut, plus its strong and has good heat exchange properties.

On a side note, what sort of filter does the scoop use? With the blower the intake air will be moving much quicker, many filters will not be capabale of the flow and will collapse, allow more dirt thru and/or have air leakages around the filter assy.

the CDC scoop does not have its own filter. it utilizes the factory air filter. it is plumbed into the lower half of the factory airbox.

In that case it shouldn't be an issue

Does the procharger use the stock filter? Never looked, I know they don't on the Chevy applications.

well, looking at the pics in this thread, looks like you could run the shaker with minimal fabrication.

just need to come up with a cut in the procharger inlet, and a connection to the outlet from the shaker. no matter what, you have to fabricate something, as the procharger does not use any of the factory airbox.

A bit off topic, but what kind of numbers are you putting down with that combo?

theres also a pic on the CDC website that shows the shaker connected to the procharger. it also says tech support available for the mod.

I just installed a CDC Shaker System on my 05 Mustang GT and my kit came with a replacement filter for the factory one. I believe it was called an S & B.
