CDC Shaker System in custom vehicle section

On CDC website they have a 'customer vehicle' section. If you scroll down to 'Cory' photos you will see a black stang with the hood up (picture right below is a side shot of the hood scoop with 'shaker' in silver).

It looks like he did some mod's to the system. I can't tell if he supercharged it or just added some CAI components or something complete different.

I don't have enough knowledge to be able to tell so I'm hoping someone hear could fill me in. Heck, maybe Cory is a poster here.

Here is the link

Nice looking rides. On a few they have blacked out sections between the taillights. Is that a vinyl applique or something else? I've seen the one that CDC sells and it's OK, and I've seen the honeycomb one too but neither are exactly what I'd want.

no, i just linked the pics for easy viewing. i think this car has a vortech supercharger. cant tell for sure if the shaker is truely functional, or how it connects to the inlet tube. with a better pic, we could determine how it connects for sure. the owner may not want to tell, as some people like to be unique. i can say that i have never seen this car posted here on stangnet....

Okay, it did look like your car with some different mods so I wasn't sure.

Yeah, I was wondering if he did frequent stangnet if he would cough up any info on his ride.

Who knows, it has only been a few hours!!

How do you tell if it's a non-functional Shaker. If someone bought the Shaker System from CDC and installed it according to the directions, is it functional or are there other steps to complete the process.

well, with a supercharger, modifications are needed. it will link up to your stock airbox just fine. the supercharger requires fabrication to make the shaker work, as the kit is designed for stock airboxes....
