CE Light Problem

So here is the story

I bought a 2006 V6

Found prev owner had cut out converters so I was getting a ce light running lean

Replaced the entire exhaust and added a cold air intake

Still got CE light but not as often

Cleaned MAF, AIM and TB

Disconnected battery and reset the computer did all the appropriate reset procedures

Now it only comes on when I turn the car on, reverse it out and switch to drive.

If I clear the code the CE light will not come on again until the next next cycle

Any ideas?
