ceramic coated headers

Has anyone ever used both style headers, was there a big difference in underhood temps?

I've used both, and yes there is a big difference, both in the looks department and in the underhood temp department.

you wont have to worry about them rusting away. the chrome ones suck because they turn bluish and eventually rust. Pay the extra for the ceramic if you plan on keeping the car for a long time. Plus they will look a hell of a lot better.

I have had two different sets of headers on my car now, Mac first they were on a week and rusted out, they got taken off immedieatly, then i put the bbk chrome ones on there, the turned a bit blue around the collector and at the port, but otherwise not too bad. But the temps underneath the hood are rediculous. I was gonna wrap the bbk's but I thought that would look ugly, so I wanted to know if that coating really worked as advertised.
