Cervinis 3.5" cowl hood VS AFM power pipe

I got my new hood and the elbow for the bypass valve does not clear. Anyone have a easy solution. Looks like the stock hood would have had the room.

How does it not clear with a 3.5" cowl hood, but the stocker might have had more room?
