I just got a 94 V6 Mustang in the JY...and it has a Cervini's hood in it. I have to say that those are some high quality hoods!! The top side is a flat as can be with NO waves in it. The bottom side is the same way!! I highly recommend these hoods to those who want an aftermarket!!

Yes, but someone may have already put 20 hours labor to get it that way.

That could be, but I do a lot of paint work myself, and it looks like the hood just came that way, it is too perfect...every inch. The corner is chipped from the accident so you can see what is underneath. I think I'm gonna fix it and sell it here in the office.

The shop that did my hood does a lot of body kits and the guy said that my hood was the best piece of 'glass they'd ever seen.

That is good to hear. I have never seen a glass hood that didn't need work.

I had one from Cervini's that looked awesome out of the box, and then the gel-coat let go once the hood was painted (black) and parked out in the summer sun. The whole thing had to be block sanded, primed, and repainted.

Did you bake it prior to working on it?

gotta bake em for a while before you paint them man or they will get ugly in a hurry. I'm surprsised a lot of body shops don't understand you have to bake some fiberglass stuff for a while before painting it.

When I first painted my hood, all I did was sand it and paint it. Straight as an arrow! Cervinis rocks!
